Marvellous wrought iron gates that surround the Obelisk
Herrliche schmiedeeiserne Tore die den Obelisken umgeben

Das war ein wirklich sehr interessanter
Nachmittag hier im Gustav Vigeland Park in Oslo.

Als Künstler hat mich das natürlich besonders fasziniert,
und ich war so richtig in meinem Element.

Dieser Park wurde dem Künstler von der Stadt Oslo zur Verfügung
gestellt und im Gegenzug hat er all seine Werke der Bevölkerung
Oslos vermacht.

That certainly was a most interesting afternoon
at the Gustav Vigeland park here in Oslo.

Being an artist this of course was of special interest to me,
and I was happy to be here.

This park was made available to Vigeland and in return he willed
all his works to the population of Oslo.
